Why merge PDFs in your browser?
Most PDF merger tools work by uploading your files to a remote server, processing them there, and sending the result back. That means your documents — contracts, reports, tax forms — pass through a third-party system you have no visibility into.
This tool does the opposite. When you click Merge, your browser reads the files directly from disk, combines them using the pdf-lib library running locally in JavaScript, and offers the result as a download. Nothing is transmitted. The merge completes in seconds on any modern device.

Is there a file size limit?
There is no enforced file size limit. Very large PDFs (hundreds of megabytes combined) may slow down or run out of browser memory depending on your device, but the tool imposes no hard cap.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
You can add as many PDFs as your browser memory allows. The file list shows your current order; drag to reorder before merging.
Can I reorder the files before merging?
Yes. Once you add two or more files, a drag-and-drop list appears so you can set the exact order before clicking Merge.
Will the merged PDF preserve bookmarks, links, and form fields?
The merger uses pdf-lib, which preserves the page content and structure of each document. Complex interactive elements like form fields and JavaScript actions may not survive the merge depending on how they were authored.
